Beach access success

Across from Green Harbor Park on Pequot Avenue in New London, CT, you will find a sandy little beach, known as Green Harbor Beach. This quaint summer destination is one of the only free public beaches left in the area.

They say that many hands make light work and this project held true to that saying. What started as a vision by one of our Insurance Advisors, Mark Spinnato, became a reality with the support of the Bouvier Brigade. We were able to secure a donation from our carrier partner, Vermont Mutual Insurance Group which was then matched by Bouvier Insurance enabling UCP of Eastern CT to purchase this amazing Mobi Beach Wheelchair. This chair will allow those with disabilities safe access to not only the beach, but also the water.

A huge thank you to our friends at UCP of Eastern CT for coordinating the purchase, build, and delivery of this amazing floating wheelchair. We are so very proud that we were able to be part of this, and we know that the New London Recreation Department will ensure that this chair is made available to those in need!
